Question 1

Multiple choice

Section 2 / Task 2.2 Prebuilt offerings for AI-powered work

An accounting firm runs on Google Workspace. Its staff paste client files into the Gemini app while signed in to their personal Google accounts. The partners want staff to keep using the app for drafting. What should the firm do?

Show answerHide answer

Answer: D

Why

The Gemini app is available with Workspace work accounts, where enterprise data protections apply. Staff keep the tool they already use, under the firm's accounts instead of their own.

Why not the others

  • ABuilds when a finished product already meets the need.
  • BClient files still pass through personal accounts.
  • CGoogle AI Studio is for prototyping, with limited enterprise controls.

Question 2

Multiple choice

Section 1 / Task 1.1 Core concepts and use cases

A model vendor shows a manufacturer's leadership team a public leaderboard on which its model ranks first. The team needs a model to summarize its own equipment maintenance reports. Before choosing, how should it judge each model's performance?

Show answerHide answer

Answer: C

Why

Performance means quality and latency on your own task. Running the candidates on a sample of the company's own reports measures that. A public benchmark alone does not.

Why not the others

  • AA public benchmark is not this company's task or data.
  • BContext window is a separate factor, and nothing suggests the reports are too long.
  • DNewer is not proof of better on this task. Evaluate a version before adopting it.

Question 3

Multiple response

Section 2 / Task 2.5 Tooling for agents

A hotel group's reservations line receives voicemails in Spanish, Japanese and Portuguese. An agent must turn each voicemail into English text for the front-desk team. Which two Google APIs should the agent call? Choose two.

Show answerHide answer

Answers: B and D

Why

Speech-to-Text transcribes the audio, and Translation turns the transcribed text into English. Narrow, repeated tasks like these suit the specialized APIs.

Why not the others

  • AWorks the other way round: it speaks text aloud.
  • CTranslates whole documents and keeps their formatting. A transcript is plain text.
  • EAnalyzes video, not voicemail audio.

Question 4

Multiple choice

Section 3 / Task 3.3 Grounding, RAG and sampling parameters

A support assistant's monthly model bill doubled after the team began sending each customer's full 18-month chat history with every question. Answer quality did not improve. Which change most directly cuts the cost?

Show answerHide answer

Answer: B

Why

Cost is counted in tokens, and the full history inflates the input on every request. A summary, or only the relevant turns, cuts the token count without hurting the answers.

Why not the others

  • ATemperature controls randomness, not the number of tokens billed.
  • CAllows longer, costlier responses, and does not shrink the input.
  • DHolds more tokens, but every one of them is still billed.

Question 5

Multiple choice

Section 4 / Task 4.3 Responsible AI in business

A wrong answer from an AI tool reached a customer. The data team, the vendor manager and the service team each said another group was responsible for the tool's outputs. Which responsible AI practice was missing?

Show answerHide answer

Answer: A

Why

Accountability means a named person or team owns each AI system's outcomes and can intervene. Using AI does not remove responsibility, and here no one owned the tool.

Why not the others

  • BMatters, but it does not say who owns the outcome.
  • CA privacy technique. It does not assign ownership.
  • DShows why an answer was given, not who answers for it.
